Stainless steel threaded insert for repairing G / BSP pipe threads

Dimension and pitch: according to the selected variant
Length of the insert: 1.5 D (given in multiples of the nominal diameter of the thread being repaired)

* The length of the insert is given in the expanded state, i.e. after insertion into the thread to be repaired , i.e. if you are repairing a G1/4" thread with a 1.5D insert, then the length of the insert is 1.5 times 1/4" (=6.35mm), i.e. 9.525mm.

Tolerance of the internal thread of the insert: ISO 2 (6H)

V-Coil thread inserts are made from high quality chrome nickel stainless steel and create strong, internal threads that are resistant to heat and corrosion. The unique design ensures superior threads whose overall performance characteristics cannot be duplicated by any other method.
Material: chrome nickel austenitic unstabilized steel (food grade stainless steel), newly marked according to ČSN 10088-1 1.4301 ( X5CrNi 18-10 ), old designation AISI 304, ČSN 17240, AKV 7

The lengths of the inserts are always a multiple of the nominal size of the thread being repaired. Drill is not part of the set Thread repair method: 1. You drill out the damaged thread with the provided drill bit (if it is included in the set) 2. You cut the thread with the attached (special) tapper (the use of other - set or machine tappers does not work) 3. With the help of the supplied inserter, insert the insert to the desired depth (beware, the inserts cannot be turned back!) 4. Use a punch (if included in the set) or pliers to break out the insertion part on the insert
