The holder is made of heat treated hardened steel.
An eccentric sleeve can be purchased with the holder, with which it is very easy to fine-tune the offset of the knife edge, which is ideal when the machine does not have a Y axis for precise adjustment. You can easily eliminate any inaccuracy / error thanks to the possibility of turning the housing (on the scale) by 0.5 mm on both sides.
We can also supply these holders in a version for slotting square, hexagonal and spline( multi-groove) profiles - see the enclosed catalog sheet.
The holder is delivered without an insert, these are purchased separately - you will find them in related products or in the enclosed catalog sheet. We can offer inserts made of sintered steel HSSE-PM or carbide.
