Hard submicron substrate with PVD SUMOTEC coating. Suitable for machining hard nickel-based steels - e.g. Inconel (40-50HRC) at low to medium speeds.
Usage:
Refractory steel: S10-S20
Cutting conditions - see attached photo
Type F3S: Sharp breaker for finishing operations when machining refractory steels. It shows very good chip formation at a cutting height of 0.5-2.0mm and a feed of 0.1-0.3mm/rev.
