Extended imaging attachment - hexagonal punch
Size of attachment / for imaging heads: according to the selected variant

Dimension tolerance and imaging depth - see attached PDF catalog sheet.
These extended imaging attachments are only suitable for imaging heads of the type with the same designation as the attachment, i.e. G16M / G16L. Use in another head is not recommended - possibly on request.
Material: HSS or HSSE-PM - according to the chosen variant
Coating: without coating
* we are able to offer TiN / TiAlN / INOX PLUS, ZIRINOS, or other coatings, and we can also supply these attachments with internal cooling

Uncoated design of the extension: steel, aluminum, copper, brass, cast iron - with max. strength up to 900MPa
Coated version of the extension: steel, stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, copper, brass, cast iron - with max. strength up to 1400MPa
We recommend HSSE-PM sintered steel punches for serial production and when forming steels with higher strength + stainless steel.
The attachments with the head work on the principle of turning/extruding - see the attached video.
Remember that the hole must always be properly pre-drilled and countersunk - lead-in for the punch!
If you need a different punch size or tolerance, or if you did not find the desired punch in the menu, send us an inquiry.
Delivery time for non-stock items (heads and attachments) is 5-7 days, for custom production usually 2 weeks.
